The Edmonton Oilers cruised to a 5-1 victory over the Vancouver Canucks in Game 4 of their second-round playoff series on Monday night, completing a 4-0 sweep and punching their ticket to the Stanley Cup Finals.

Connor McDavid and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins each had three-point nights, with McDavid scoring a goal and adding two assists, while Nugent-Hopkins had three assists. Stuart Skinner made 34 saves in net for the Oilers, who outshot the Canucks 40-35.

Kailer Yamamoto scored the game-winning goal with just over three minutes remaining in the third period, giving the Oilers a 2-1 lead. McDavid and Evan Bouchard also scored in the third period to extend the lead to 4-1. Nugent-Hopkins added an empty-net goal with 1:20 remaining to seal the victory.

Canucks captain Elias Pettersson scored the lone goal for Vancouver on a power play in the second period. Thatcher Demko made 35 saves in net for the Canucks, who were outplayed by the Oilers for much of the game.

The Oilers will now face the Eastern Conference champion in the Stanley Cup Finals, which begins on Wednesday, June 15. The Oilers are looking to win their first Stanley Cup since 1990.
