Jason Kidd's Tenure (2014-2018)

Jason Kidd took over as head coach of the Bucks in 2014 and guided the team to their first playoff appearance since 2010 in his first season. Under Kidd's leadership, the Bucks made it to the Eastern Conference Finals in 2019, but were ultimately eliminated by the Toronto Raptors.

Mike Budenholzer's Era (2018-2023)

Mike Budenholzer took over as the Bucks' head coach in 2018. During his tenure, the Bucks experienced unprecedented success. In the 2020-2021 season, the Bucks won their first NBA championship since 1971, led by former MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. Budenholzer was named NBA Coach of the Year in 2019 and 2021.

Recent Developments

On April 7, 2023, the Bucks announced that they had parted ways with Mike Budenholzer. Adrian Griffin, who had been an assistant coach with the team since 2018, was named interim head coach.

On June 26, 2023, the Bucks hired Doc Rivers as their new head coach. Rivers, who previously coached the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Clippers, brings a wealth of experience and success to Milwaukee.
